About Endo Awareness & Education

About This Project
Endometriosis Awareness & Education is an independent educational project developed and technically managed by Sapphire MedWeb Solutions. Dr Amena Shelleh serves as publisher and clinical editorial lead for the blog’s medical educational content. Its purpose is to make information about endometriosis clearer and easier to understand, while helping readers find useful and reputable sources of information and support.
The site covers topics including symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and management, everyday wellbeing, research, support and advocacy. Where appropriate, content is developed with reference to reputable sources such as the NHS, NICE, the World Health Organization, Endometriosis UK, professional medical organisations and peer-reviewed research. Sources are identified within articles where relevant, and content may be reviewed or corrected when material issues are identified.
Sapphire MedWeb Solutions is responsible for website design, technical operations, QA and release coordination. Dr Amena Shelleh is responsible for clinical approval of medical content and decisions about medical corrections or article withdrawal. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by any hospital, NHS organisation, healthcare professional, charity or patient organisation unless a specific relationship is clearly stated. The three articles currently published were developed from AI-generated drafts and individually reviewed, edited where needed and approved for publication by Dr Amena Shelleh. Their editorial notes explain this process. The material remains general education and does not provide individual medical advice.
The information provided on this website is for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for individual advice, diagnosis or treatment from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
